About us

Australian Wool Network (AWN)

Australian Wool Network is a privately owned, Australian company.  The company’s core business is wool and it continues to build on this by seeking to establish new marketing programs that drive demand for wool and deliver genuine value to its wool growing client base.

Australian Wool Network (AWN) was established in 1999 by a group of experienced wool industry professionals.

Since the beginning, AWN’s vision was to bring something new to the industry; to create a unique wool marketing organisation that brought wool growers and wool processors closer together. Today that vision has been extended to the end of the supply pipeline into manufacturing and retailing and now AWN can deliver its vision in full.

Bring wool growers, wool processors and consumers together.

Our history

Australian Wool Network was established in 1999 by a visionary group of wool specialists who represented each stage of the wool processing pipeline; wool growers, wool processors and wool trading professionals.

Their vision to bring wool growers and wool processors closer together continues today through extensive wool marketing knowledge, in-depth market reporting, technical expertise, industry based strategic alliances and its knitwear manufacturing business Hysport, and its domestic retail division.

Australian Wool Network invites you to Share our Vision and partner with an Australian owned wool marketing company that is genuinely committed to driving demand and price for Australian wool and is delivering genuine value to the business of growing wool.
